Motivation for striving. PART .1

Posted by awaqas1 on June 20, 2007

The motivation that comes from the spirit should not be deluded with worldly things. The motivation to do a thing should always have the end in mind in this case that at the end it should be pleasing to Allah Tallah. To add to that also one should go about actions as if they were their last action especially in the case of ibadaah

The motivation is to strive to reach out to bring the mind and body and spirit to a harmony so there it can due praise to Allah Tallah with its utmost potential. The errors that must be faced are some like the harshness and rejection of light from the mind and the strength of the body to stand up and go against its habitual acts for the sake of Allah Tallah and for its actual purpose. The cause of this might be different at times but never the less KNOW that shaitan is an enemy to you, remind yourself often of this and this should lead you to seek protection from Allah Tallah. Start not a thing but before seek refuge from Allah Tallah; This is very very important.

Learn and know the promises and allurements of the world and the things that bring you away from most beloved Allah Tallah Glory be to him. Take your stand against them ask for Allah Tallah’s refuge. Learn and remember the covenant that you have made with Allah Tallah and over and over read the verses that tell you about the promise of Allah Tallah that is to be true, and what is your reward; compare that reward with the reward that these allurements of this world offer. The reward of the hereafter is better than of this world (It has not comparison to anything and is non perishable). As Allah say’s 95:6 For them is reward without end. Always Always Always remember this.

Learn about the sources of actual satisfactions and their context with accordance to your current situations.

  • Qur’an
  • Hadith
  • Dua
  • Dhikr
  • Salah
  • Fast
  • (the list is not in any perticular order)

Know the principle of how a fungi grows and learn you lesson from it. It mostly grows in dark places, where the light cannot reach. The light sort of burn the fungi and slowly dries it up and then it just crumbles and becomes dust. Compare this with your sins and know that only way to wipe out these sins are by shedding light upon them. Learn the Verse 35 in Surah Noor and memorize it and ask Allah Tallah for true guidance (look in the Quran for verses that relate to your current situation and make them your way of remembering Allah Tallah). Learn the Hidith and the dua of the prophet, Ya Allah show me the things as they are good as it is and ugly as it is.

Living in deceit one will tend to do everything one can to protect the sinful secrets, from bringing them to light, it will try to draw a veil on your sins hinder you to recognize them or hinder you from asking forgiveness. Sinning is all done in the darkness and that is where it thrives,“People involved in sinful acts will do all in their power to keep it a secret. The very thing needed is exposure which is the greatest threat to them”. Come to know your sins, prostrate before Allah Tallah and ask him for forgiveness and ask for sincere forgiveness. Have shame and humility and settle your accounts with you ego and tie a collar of repentance to its neck.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds are evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for the fear of being exposed. John.3:19.20

On the day of judgment it is all going to be exposed right in front of us and we will not be able to do anything at all ?, So now that we have the chance bring your sins in front of us and ask for sincere forgiveness.
