Every morning when a person wakes up the whole body begs the tongue, “Fear God for our sake, for our salvation depends upon you! If you are true, we will be truthful. If you are false, we are doomed” (Tirmidhi, Abu Sa’id al-Khudri)
Not a word he utters but there is by him a watcher at hand (Qur’an Kaaf, 18 )
If you can promise me that you will be able to control your tongue in your mouth and what is between your two legs, I can promise that God will take you to His Paradise. (Bukhari, Sahl ibn Sa’d)
